Welcome to Season 1

Citadine, noun, city, city girl in French.

SS2020, designer Julia pays tribute to citadines in her life.  Garments were designed to celebrate a variety of body types and personalities, with the principle of making timeless stables with a feminine twist.   Each style is named after a lady she adores and holds dear to to her heart, including her beloved mother Jia.

Cotton cavas, linen,70% cotton 30% silk blend, cotton and linen gauze in the finest quality available were selected, then block printed by hand, adding prints of polka dots, checks, stripes, and soft florals.  Monochromatic color schemes of pink and blue pays homage to the feminine/masculine dynamic.  Each garment is hand made with French seam finish, hand embroidered with house signature XXX.

We work closely with experts and artisans in the USA and overseas.  Everything is slow made in small scale.  Each season, we embrace the zero waste principle by making a new design with fabric scraps.
